about
who am I
nick ahn
I grew up thinking I wasn't very creative. I've always been a very curious person who loved to learn but never create. It wasn't until I picked up a deck of cards that I felt like I had something artistic to share.

I made short videos of my cardistry throughout middle school and high school when the art form was a fraction of the size it is today. I loved learning and creating new moves to share them.

After graduating college, moving to Houston, TX, and starting my job, I picked up a camera and started taking photos of friends and family to get practice. Eventually, more and more people took notice of my work and I do portrait and product photography regularly now.

At the same time, I tried my hand at creating products for the cardistry space. I started with posters and handmade playing cards, then moved on to trainers that had never before been created.

My most recent passions are in animation and film photography. I've developed an affinity for analog technology and the brilliance of its engineering.

So who am I and what do I do? Photographer? Videographer? Cardist? Animator? I don't think I could ever answer that question directly. I consider myself a curious creative and this website is a place where I can share all my passions for anyone who is interested.

Thanks for stopping by.
